Sometimes we meet with clients after hours or on weekends due to the need to maintain confidentiality or for the convenience of all parties. This is the exception rather than the rule. Travel is generally limited to your local area with the exception of industry conferences and occasionally a business transaction.

Whether you need a license to become a business broker depends on the state you operate in. In many U.S. states, a real estate license is required if the sale of a business involves real estate (like commercial property or a lease).
